Niramaya(নিরাময়)

With the initiative of Phuleshwar Annapurna Gramin Vikas Kendra, a Health check up camp has been organized for the poor and destitute women of Howrah rural district’s Phuleshwar and Uluberia zones. Over a hundred women’s blood samples have been collected. The next day, blood report and necessary medicines are distributed. Most of the reports revealed an iron deficiency. Reputed gynaecologist Dr. Dipankar Pati and his team made the women aware of the risks of iron deficiency and how to address these issues

Through this program, the poor and destitute women and children of rural areas of Howrah, particularly Uluberia, Phuleshwar, Panchla, Basudevpur, Raghudevpur, Kalitala, are given health check ups, blood tests, medicines, medical advice etc. The women and children of these areas of West Bengal suffer greatly from blood deficiency. Therefore we organize various camps on symptoms of blood deficiency and ways to prevent it. In these camps gynaecologists give advice to women and also distribute medicines to them.
With the cooperation of NYKS and the organization of APGVK we also organize many workshops about the benefits of daily yoga and exercise. Experienced trainers also teach various yoga exercises.

The modern youth are often victims of stress and in order to address this, the benefits of yoga and meditation are also taught to young people through discussion Groups. In order to teach the health benefits of cleanliness, many cleaning drives are organized by the initiatives taken by younger people.
