Fuleswar Annapurna Gramin Vikash Kendra

Fuleswar Annapurna Gramin Vikash Kendra came into existence in 2012 with the noble aim of working for women inhabiting the literal margins of the society and to help them come out of that distress by making them self-sufficient and self-dependent. Since then this non-profit Social Welfare Organisation has been proactive in engaging women belonging to the tribal, economically backward and suburban areas in different cottage industries by providing them professional training by the experts of this field. It also encourages their skills in local handicrafts and helps them to get proper price for their hard work by helping them sell their products in different urban markets. The organisation helps women from the backward sections of the society to form Self Help Groups (SHGS) and looks after the matters of Bank Loan for the smooth running of these endeavours. At the same time it has organised several health camps in tribal and socially and economically backward regions to spread health awareness among women and children. To instill modern scientific awareness among the tribals the organisation regularly arranges awareness camps to make people concerned about the perils of ecological destruction and drug addiction. The organisation has also taken steps to preserve folk traditions and cultures which are on the verge of extinction.
